Route 66 Hot Spot (Seligman, AZ)

We stayed in Peach Springs, AZ the first night. The Lodge supplied ear plugs because the train passed by every 15 minutes all night long.

We could of helicoptered down or up for $85.

Here is the beginning of the 8 mile hike down.

Prepared with a mask because the donkey do on the Grand Canyon trail to Phantom Ranch is so bad and flys into your lungs. We covered our nostrils a few times as the horses passed but it was really unneeded.

Pretty hot and already tired :)

Look at this young thing all full of spirit.

One mile left and the creek looked so good. . . .
Somehow all of the pictures of the Indian village are gone. Didn't look much different than Mescalero, 'cept there were not vehicles.
