Slough Creek Campground, Yellowstone Park. In the first 18 miles of the park we encountered buffalo interspersed with antelope, black bear, and we missed the baby grizzly. One black bear so far in the campground and one fox with a squirrel hanging out of his mouth as we traveled off road to the campground.

THERE IS A BEAR IN THE CAMPGROUND!

Annie and Jack met us in Cooke City early on in the day. We had a great dinner. No cell service in this area. Then this am we traveled into the park. Found a couple of backpackers and secured their campsite---said full---and lucked out--that is, if the grizzlies don't get us.
