The wildest rafting trip I have ever been on except the one through the middle fork of the Salmon River in a two man rubber raft at age 20 that I was lucky enough to survive.

Cuzco was at 9000 plus feet. Several weeks later when we arrived in Ariquipa after the big hike I again had oxygen but my old system was ready to shut down after PUNO.

We met in New Zealand while Jeni was doing her stint in Samoa. She did an amazing 6 or so hikes of about 20 or so miles apiece. I just did one---the Milford Trek---and survived.
