Porters carried my back pack. They are dressed in traditional wear. They wore sandals and carried up to 80 plus lbs on there backs going over two passes above 13,500 feet always having our lunch and dinner hot on our arrival.
Near the top of this 4 day journey you pass through a rain forest.
The last morning you arise early, and walk with flashlights, so you can watch the sun come up over this village saved for the Inca kings.
This is a sacrificial table used for humans as well as animals.
On to Puno and Lake Titicaca--highest lake in the world--and then to Arequipa to observe the frozen princess.
